Terms and Conditions
All food and beverages must be prepared or supplied by Bistro 517 Any food or beverages brought from an "OUTSIDE" source will not be served. Exceptions available only if pre-approved during a planning session with Bistro 517 and noted in your contract.
There is a minimum of $26.00 per person (not including cake or alcohol) for wedding receptions. There is a surcharge for any orders under $1200.00 .
Special items (i.e. tables, tents, linen, flatware, china, glassware, etc.) can be ordered for an additional fee.
Bistro 517 is not responsible for any items damaged or left on premises.
Bistro 517 can provide all servers and bartenders.
Daytime servers are $25/hour (3 hour minimum).
Nightime servers are $30/hour (3 hour minimum)
Events longer than 6 hours will result in an additional charge of $30.00 per hour, per employee. This is charged even if there is a fraction of an hour. i.e.- an event extending 30 minutes past the scheduled time will be charged as a full hour.
The following guidelines will be used to determine # of staff required:
Bar - 1 bar for each 75 guests
Buffet - 1 server per 25 guests
Sit down dinner or Seated buffet - 1 server per 10 guests
- Any count between each 25 guests will require additional servers/bartenders. For example, if the final count is 62 guests, 3 servers will be required instead of 2.
- An additional fee of $100.00 per hour will be charged if the event extends past the allotted time.
Leftover food is packed up after the event. It is the responsibility of the host/hostess to ask for the leftover items. If the food has not been retrieved by the end of the event, the leftovers will be discarded.
Bistro 517 reserves the right to refuse alcoholic beverages to an individual, and or discontinue service to the group, if it is deemed necessary by Bistro 517 representative or site manager.
Alcoholic beverages will stop being served 1 hour before event end time.
- i.e. if your event is scheduled 5:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m., the alcohol will stop being served at 10:00 p.m.
- Non-alcoholic beverages will be available until the event ending time.
There will be a $1.00 per person cake cutting fee for all receptions with wedding cake.
In order to secure a date, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of catering bill (based on estimated guest count and the minimum per person charge) is necessary.
Remainder of deposit equal to 75% of catering bill based on estimated guest count and actual per person charges is due when menu is determined. The balance is due (including) when the final count is determined (10 business days before the event).
A guaranteed number for the event must be given 10 business days before the Event. The count may not decrease once a final count is given; the number may increase within reason. If the actual number of guests exceeds the final count given you will be charged accordingly per person. This charge will occur even if the food is depleted.
Charges for any additional items ordered after balance has been paid, are due on the day of the event.
There is a $100.00 returned check fee.
If the event is cancelled within 6 weeks of scheduled date, payment in full is due less 20% food costs. (No exceptions) The number of guests will be determined by the estimated numbers given at the time the event was booked.
- Any deposits given will be deducted from total amount due. I.e. if the estimated # given is 150 and the menu planned was $27.85 per person.
$27.85 X 150 guests = $4177.50
Less 20 % = $835.50
Less $500.00 received
Total amount due - $2,842.00 - If it is necessary to retrieve these funds through legal action, the signer of this contract will incur such costs.
No guests, event members, host/hostess, event coordinators or vendors are permitted in the kitchen AT ANY TIME!
Bistro 517 occasionally adjusts prices on food and beverages based on cost, supply and availability. Any price or supply changes will be review during your planning session. Bistro 517 reserves the right to make reasonable substitutions or minor price adjustments.
